A unique form of destructive competition
  is a derby of sorts, called demolition.

From all over the county they come to spar
  and partake in the destruction of a sacrificial car.

Contestants arrive with their creations in tow
  for the Ozaukee County derby, the best in show.

For those who don’t know, these are serious events;
  drivers must keep moving, despite massive dents.

After the heats, losers get yanked off the track
  but the cars still running get invited back.
