Litter

Poem Thumbnail

I took a plastic bag on my walk today
  to collect bits of rubbish, which had blown away.

It didn’t take long to fill it on my little roundup;
   a neighbor took time to thank me for picking things up.

Litterbugs will always be around, virus or not,
  but for me, picking it up today really hit the spot.

Enjoy a sunny walk to avoid feeling like a recluse,
  and may the trail you travel be free of refuse.
